Computer Vision Software - for counting and identifying arthropods. The people at Insect Professor are developing computer vision software and hardware for environmental monitoring. Intially, we are concentrating on products to automatically count and identify insects and related arthropods. The software runs on computers using any of the Microsoft Windows operating systems. Our products free professionals to accomplish more by reducing their time spent sampling. Educators can do more interesting laboratory experiments in insect ecology without the need for taxonomic keys and training in insect identification.

Insect Sample Processing Service

Create scanned images of your arthropod samples and e-mail them to us for counting by our image processing system. This saves you time, and you will automatically have digitial records (both numerical data and images) of your samples ready for a database management system.

Continuing Education for Pest Control Advisors
